Type of work: painting; collage

From photos, torn paper, tissue paper, cut paper, newspaper, and glue an image is created. I was hooked on collage before the glue dried on my first try. It involves texture, color, and design. Whether it comes from an idea in my mind or begins with a cutout image that I then respond to, collage is like both solving a puzzle and playing jazz. I see it everywhere.

Description of work

1. Framed collage: originals in all sizes

2. Collage note cards: 75 designs of note and holiday cards. The cards are photocopies of originals mounted on recycled paper card stock

1. Framed originals: $100 to $200

2. Note cards: $2.00 each; $8.50 for five cards
