My work is simple in form, a three-dimensional canvas to hold a painting. I love bright colors, and I am also fascinated by movement. The paintings on my pottery come from the movements and shapes created by dancers, clouds in the sky, flowers, branches, leaves, and anything else that moves or makes an interesting shape. My cat paintings are the "essence of a cat" and are inspired by my sister's love for cats.

My pieces are functional and are made on the potter's wheel. They are food- safe and can go in the oven, the microwave, and the dishwasher. My studio is at Mudflat Studio in Somerville, MA.

I feel that there is an artist in everyone. I found the artist in me, and it changed my life.
