| From photos, torn paper, tissue
paper, cut paper, newspaper, and glue an image is created. I was hooked
on collage before the glue dried on my first try. It involves texture,
color, and design. Whether it comes from an idea in my mind or begins
with a cutout image that I then respond to, collage is like both
solving a puzzle and playing jazz. I see it everywhere.
Ms. Eng's collection of work includes framed collages
(originals available upon request), collage note cards that are
photocopies of originals, and her line of pottery, which can be found
at both the Sign of the Dove stores.
